1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Steady mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Steady is a habit tracking application that allows users to:

  • Create and track daily habits
  • Sync health data from Apple Health or Health Connect
  • View progress, statistics, and insights
  • Set reminders and notifications
  • Access premium features through subscription (Steady Pro)

3. Account Registration

To use Steady, you must create an account using Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Steady Pro

Steady offers premium features through paid subscriptions ("Steady Pro"). Subscription options include:

  • Monthly subscription
  • Yearly subscription
  • Lifetime purchase (one-time payment)

Billing

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to their respective terms of service.

Automatic Renewal

Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within the App, including habit names, notes, and entries. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App to transmit malware or harmful code
  • Impersonate any person or entity

7. Health Data Disclaimer

Steady is not a medical device or health service. The App is intended for personal habit tracking and wellness purposes only. The health data integration feature is provided for convenience and should not be used for medical diagnosis, treatment, or health-related decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice.

8. Intellectual Property

The Steady App, including its design, features, code, and content, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
